Pike County Woman Sent For Mental Evaluation
After reviewing the mental evaluation of Mary Peterson, a Pike County Circuit Judge has sent her to the Kentucky Correctional Psychiatric Center for 60 days.
Following this period she will be re-evaluated to see if she is competent to stand trial for the murder of her husband Richard Peterson. Police say she shot and killed her husband in November.
