PAINTSVILLE, Ky. — A Johnson County man has been arrested after police say he confessed to using hidden cameras to record a 15-year-old girl while she was dressing and showering. Paintsville Police were contacted Saturday by a woman who said her daughter found nude photos and videos of herself. When interviewed by police, the girl said she found the images on Henry Jon Ritscher’s cell phone. During the interview, Ritscher allegedly messaged the girl’s mother, saying he was sorry. PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — A Floyd County man arrested back in July after being accused of assaulting his wife and holding her prisoner has now been indicted in the case. James Chadwick Burchett, 41, of Ivel, was arrested July 28 after police received a domestic violence complaint from Highlands ARH Medical Center. The woman told police Burchett accused her of cheating on him and believed she had other men hidden in their apartment. SALYERSVILLE, Ky. — A Magoffin County man has been arrested for cruelty to animals, for allegedly hurting a puppy during an argument. Sheriff’s deputies were given a video of a man abusing the dog while threatening his mother during an argument over money. Deputies identified the man as Kelsie Jimmy Allen, 20, of Salyersville, and went to speak to him last Monday.
